Introduced a few months ago, the all-new 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV promises to exceed expectations with its impressive powertrain and remarkable performance. Slated to arrive in 2023, the 2024 Silverado EV is a collection of numbers that are both eye-opening and exceptional. Built on the new Ultium architecture with 800 volts, the 2024 Silverado EV will offer 640 km of range and will be able to charge on a DC fast-charging network at up to 350 kilowatts. That means that you can expect to add 160 km of range in just ten minutes.

The Silverado EV will be one of the most advanced electric vehicles on the market when it arrives. It will also offer exceptional towing capability with 10,000 lb of max towing and up to 1,300 pounds of payload. There will be multiple versions of the new Silverado EV including an RST version and even a work truck. The latter will deliver 510 horsepower and the Silverado EV will also come standard with all-wheel drive as well as a four-wheel steering system. 24-inch wheels will be offered as an option and we expect to see a Trail Boss model as well down the road.

As mentioned previously, there will be 10,000 pounds of towing capability on most Silverado EV models, but Chevrolet says a model with 20,000 lb of towing capability is coming. A large 200-kWh battery pack will provide the power the Silverado EV needs to tow with confidence. Inside, there’s an 11-inch infotainment touchscreen as well as an 11-inch gauge display. The RST model unlocks a 17-inch infotainment screen which should be loaded with all of the connectivity features you’re looking for.
