GMC is raising the bar with its 2024 Sierra HD lineup, introducing new trims, updated interior design, and trailering assistance technologies. The lineup is led by the debut of the Sierra Heavy Duty Denali Ultimate, bringing unparalleled luxury, comfort, and power to the segment. Duncan Aldred, vice president of Global Buick and GMC, praises the 2024 Sierra HD as an enhancement to the already successful Sierra HD range, mentioning upcoming additions like the off-road optimized Sierra HD AT4X trim.

The engine line-up is particularly impressive, with the 6.6L Duramax Turbo-Diesel V-8 now paired with a 10-speed Allison transmission, delivering 470 horsepower and 975 lb-ft of torque. This pairing provides 25% more low-end torque compared to its predecessor, ensuring a remarkable sense of on-demand power. It also supports a best-in-class towing capacity up to 36,000 pounds on the 3500HD model.

Impressive Technology and Connectivity

A key aspect of the new Sierra HD is the advanced technology it offers. GMC’s ProGrade trailering system leads the class in trailering assistance technologies. In addition, the infotainment system now features a class-leading 13.4-inch-diagonal tablet-style touchscreen. The 2024 model also sees the introduction of Google integration, allowing for a seamless connection between the vehicle and everyday digital life.

Revamped Interior and Exterior Designs

GMC designers have gone the extra mile to differentiate the Sierra from its rivals, introducing new interiors across different trims. AT4, Denali, and Denali Ultimate trims now flaunt unique GMC premium interior designs, with new stitching and premium materials throughout.

The exterior design of the 2024 Sierra HD lineup has also been refined, with updates on the front bumper, fascia, and grille designs. New features like animated lighting add a modern touch, while new wheel designs and six new exterior colours ensure a bold and fresh look.

Introducing the Sierra HD Denali Ultimate

Taking the spotlight in the 2024 lineup is the first-ever Sierra HD Denali Ultimate. Equipped with full-grain leather appointments, a 16-way power-adjustable and massaging front seats, a 12-speaker Bose Premium series, and an Alpine Umber interior, it sets a new benchmark for luxury and comfort in heavy-duty trucks.
